Good Idea

I found a person at my school who is a pro coder for the clients. He said he will make a great custom client with new items and stuff for 30$ NZL which is 20$ US, so If someone donates for moderator or donates 20$ US we will get an awesome new client with new custom items that will be avaliable to all players!!!!!!!

To me it's not the client that's the main problem, but the server downtime which causes more problems.
If there was a more stable server with lots of people, I might consider donating, but in this case, there is barely any people online and It's not up all the time. Also, buying GM-like abilities seems a lil cheep for a Runescape Private server, because it makes things completely pitiful for the other people who don't have those sort of perks.
If It was just like pay for members area or a few extra commands like for most servers it would be alright, but to donate large amounts of money for a server with very few players and a PK server that is...
Seems a bit like a waste to me.

If It was Non-PK with PK areas that feels like it would be best. Especially with how some people pop out of nowhere when your training to try to PK you, lol. I just started today, and some1 tried to PK me earlier while I was training, and bout killed me but i ::home before he killed me... I then had to search for a different place to train...
Not really a friendly server if people like that are out there, and these types of servers tend to drive people away because of that.

Talked to him on msn and he said he will try code the server as well, he tought me basicly all I know, and he will do a good job

Somebody would have to donate first.

Yeah, thats why I posted it saying a quick donation for moderator would be very helpful to the server.
